Enjoy Pet-Friendly Holidays in France

Your furry family friend will love our pet friendly holiday parks! From our cosy and private holiday home accommodation with it's own private garden area, to the fabulous walks all around the holiday park, it's a great place to enjoy a relaxing holiday with your dog. 

France is a very welcoming place for pets, it's very different to the UK. Pets are allowed in almost all cafes and restaurants, making going out and exploring much easier. So whether you are enjoying a casual lunch or a more formal dinner, it's likely that the family pet can go along too!

Advice on taking your dog to France

If you are bringing your dog to France to our dog-friendly campsites in France, they must have a microchip, rabies vaccination and an animal health certificate (unless you have a pet passport issued in the EU, rather than the UK), and tapeworm treatment. 

You'll also need to make an appointment with a vet in France to have tapeworm tablet before you travel back to the UK. The treatment must have been given no less than 24 hours and no more than 120 hours (5 days) before you enter Great Britain. Vets in holiday resorts in France are used to dealing with this kind of request from UK visitors, it's very straightforward. We recommend 'googling' a vet in a nearby town to where you are staying before you go and fixing the appointment within the specified time.
