Campsites in the south-west of France

Most people think of the Med coast when they think south of France, but if you want to head somewhere with guaranteed sunshine but perhaps without the crowds of the med coast, then take a look at our campsites in the south west of France. Here you'll find the regions of the Charente Maritime, just north of Bordeaux and then the Gironde and Landes, south of Bordeaux. For perhaps a week or a fortnight in a French campsite, we offer comfortable and stylish accommodation (mobile home or glamping) and spacious pitches (shaded, semi-shaded, or sunny), as well as fantastic pool complexes, free children's clubs and plenty of other activities and entertainment! Each are of our campsites in the south west have great locations, within easy distance of the beach and some of them within an easy walking distance. You'll also be close to the most beautiful attractions of each department - Bordeaux with its wines, La Rochelle and its towers, the islands of Charente-Maritime (Île d'Oléron, Île de Ré, Île Madame...), the villages of Médoc (Soulac-sur-Mer, Vendays-Montalivet...), as well as the forests and beaches of Landes.

Campsites in France with swimming pools

At Siblu, we aim to provide adults, teenagers, and children with an exceptional holiday, full of fun things to do. Whether you want to have fun with your family or soak up the sun on a lounger, enjoy the pool complex or try a new activities, you'll find that our Siblu holiday parks are packed with great facilities and on-site entertainment. Within pool area, you may find an outdoor pool, a heated indoor pool, slides, a splash zone for the little ones (with paddling pools and water jets), water slides, or even a wellness area. Poolside loungers are perfect for drying off, soaking up the sun, or keeping an eye on the kids splashing in the pool. Sometimes, free classes are also offered at the pool, such as aqua aerobics sessions.

Lakeside campsites in France

While some campsites offer holidays just minutes from the beach, others provide a stay in the heart of nature and near a lake. Head to Domaine de Dugny in Loire-et-Cher or Domaine de Litteau in Normandy, where you can enjoy a spot of fishing. Visit Les Viviers in Gironde, La Réserve, Mimizan Plage, or Mimizan Lac in the Landes for active lake watersports, such as canoeing, paddle boarding or sailing. As mentioned, most of our holiday homes on our campsites are the French 'mobile home'! You can choose from an entry-level, mid-range, or high-end mobile home depending on your needs and budget. These accommodations offer different amenities and numbers of rooms. They can accommodate up to eight people with three bedrooms and up to 2 bathrooms! But in any case, you have the essentials of everyday life - a living room, kitchen, and toilet!

Renting a Campsite Pitch in France

We haven't forgotten the die-hard traditional camping enthusiasts. That's why, in addition to comfortable mobile home accommodation, we offer pitch rentals. You can bring your tent, camper, or caravan to enjoy a brilliant campsite holiday in the north or south of France. Plus, this rental includes access to well-maintained sanitary blocks and all the services, facilities, and activities on site. Want to enjoy a week on one of the pitches in our campsites? Each of our Siblu campsites in France have fabulous swimming pool complexes and also lots of sports and entertainment facilities on site. There's often a multi-sports pitch or a sports field, a playground for children, a gym, a boules court, and one of our parks even has a horse-riding stables! Our entertainers, meanwhile, liven up your evenings by organizing karaoke, games, and themed events suitable for all ages. And perhaps most importantly, each Siblu campsite in France offers a free Kids' Club and a Teens Club where they can make friends and enjoy activities organized by the entertainers.
