The Joséphine Lighthouse

This historic lighthouse is a major attraction in the city. Built in 1851 and active since 1852, it owes its name to Empress Josephine. In the past, it was customary for the newlyweds to go around the lighthouse as a sign of happiness!
Sand yachting at the Grande Plage

If you are looking for a campsite by the sea, look no further than the beautiful beaches of the Vendée.
